A co-worker and friend of mine at Trader Joe's also works with adults with disabilities. She realized that a lot of these people had never been aloud to do fun adult things, so she planned a trip to Las Vegas with some of them and fundraised the entire cost of the trip, none of the money that was raised will go to gambling. But she raised enough to cover the trip and for them all to go see Cirque du Soleil. I asked her how far she was to their goal and they were only $125 from completing the cost of the trip so I gave her $50. It doesn't seem much compared to the joy Seth brought to this world, but she gave me a big hug, it obviously meant a lot to her.
